    It feels like an incredible never-ending world of special effects and magical lights. Lots of fun for all ages.

  •  “Fabulous”
    5 of 5 starsReviewed September 3, 2011 from keeptravelling Hobart, Visited February 2011
    Visited Infinity with 4 older teenagers and had expectations of an overpriced, boring waste of an hour - how wrong I was. I was mesmerised from the first 'room' and had an absolute ball, laughing at myself and all the members of our group.
    It is hard to describe Infinity - suffice to say, it is a unique experience and one that should not be missed!

     If you are visiting the Gold Coast you simply owe it to yourself to come to this one of a kind attraction!

    I had read the reviews before my holiday and was VERY MUCH looking forward to it! Because of Infinity's unique nature it can be hard to describe it, hence my partner's initial reticence based on my lame attempt, garnered from the aforementioned reviews. Once we arrived and entered however, he changed his mind instantly!

    As for my review, all I can say is what Infinity was for US. We were lucky enough to visit at a quiet time in the evening and thus had the place pretty much to ourselves. What we found was a series of rooms (not so much a "maze" as some people have called it since each room flows on from the next, although it may take a minute or so to find the concealed door) each themed to different effect using mirrors, lights, lasers, music, sound effects, different surfaces, props, altered scales and various levels of illumination. Our favourites included the room which makes you feel like you are inside a giant computer (I kept thinking, "This is what Tron must feel like!")With strings of "electrons" flashing all around you. The other was the immediately following "space" room where the effect is of being completely surrounded by stars in the blackness of night. I just wanted to sit down in the middle of the floor and imagine myself floating in space with nothing else around me. Simply BREATHTAKING! Our only complaint with this room was that the new agey music was, at times a bit too loud. We theorized that this must be to drown out the sounds of the previous corridor with its "alien" theme.

    The place is just INCREDIBLE and as you are drawn further in your senses of play and adventure are aroused and excited. As a person who works with elderly people with dementia I am keenly aware of the need for adults to play. I am also aware of the effects of various sensory stimuli and what this can do for the mind through the use of "snoezelen rooms". Infinity is just a much larger and more elaborate version of this proven technique and as such, I can say its effect was palpable, exciting and eminently successful - so much so that we returned a few nights later to enjoy it, alone, all over again! I would HEARTILY recommend this incredible attraction to people of all ages with a slight caveat for children younger than, say, eight or children with phobias to do with darkness or claustrophobia.

    As you can see it is a must on your Gold Coast itinerary. Find us on Facebook for posted special discounts and all the latest news for Surfers Paradise and the gold coast theme parks

Gold Coast Hospital Foundation Masquerade Ball

One of our main foundations Infinity Attraction Surfers Paradise supports is the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation.

The Gold Coast Hospital Foundation is a community based organisation that was established to raise funds for health services and research for the Gold Coast Health Service District.

Gold Coast Hospital Foundation will become the “Charity of Choice” among all communities on the Gold Coast of Queensland.

In achieving its Mission and Vision, Gold Coast Hospital Foundation will develop collaborative fundraising mechanisms and activities to grow the base of health and medical research funding within the whole Gold Coast communities while improving the visibility and community engagement in promoting a culture of philanthropic giving among our staff and the communities it serves.
These aspirations will be achieved within the Gold Coast Health Service District through the following objectives:
  • To increase the volume and diversity of sources of funds raised in support of the Gold Coast Health Services District through the ethical, accountable and transparent fundraising activities;
  • Supporting good health and excellence in patient care;
  • Providing state of the art equipment and facilities;
  • Encouraging and supporting research;
  • Promoting and supporting education programs;
  • Active involvement in health promotion;
  • Encouraging community understanding of and participation in health programs.

  • The proceeds from the evening will be directed towards the children facilities at both Robina and Southport Hospital sites.

The Foundation has been able to negotiate a 15% discount off purchases of masks from The Hat Store which can be found on level 3 at Robina Shopping Town. • There will be an auction during the evening with opportunities within everyone's reach.
  • One lucky guest will be leaving the evening with a very special mystery prize that will be announced during the evening. If you win you may need to have sea legs; or you may suddenly become a vintage red wine connoisseur. Keep an ear to the ground as these updates continue.
  • Our entertainment for the evening will be provided by local covers band Kickstart who will cater for all tastes and abilities and, yes, there will be dancing.
  • Entree tickets will be provided for attending. Each card will be numbered and your guests are encouraged to ensure they bring them along on the night. Not only will they be confirmation of their placement at the event but they also may be useful when we conduct our lucky door prize.

QLD Flood Donations - Infinity Surfers Paradise

We have all seen the devastation caused by the flood disaster throughout QLD and especially close to home in South East Queensland. Everyone seems to be trying to do what they can to help those affected. The most important thing all affected require will be cash. The Premier's Flood Appeal is now up over 103 milllion dollars, but obviously more is required.

Infinity Surfers Paradise has made a substantial donation to date and continue to raise money through donations at the attraction and through the Black Hole Wishing Well. We also will be providing admission tickets to special causes throughout the region to help those affected by this disaster  to help rebuild their lives with a bit of fun.

Support the QLD Premier's Flood Appeal by donating at any of the major banks or via the secure website

Happy Birthday to US!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY INFINITY ATTRACTION

We had a great afternoon celebrating our birthday this year out the front of Infinity Attraction in the Chevron Renaissance Centre, Surfers Paradise.  They say that any excuse for cake is a good excuse and it was well worth it!  Our awesome INFINITY CREW and customers enjoyed a nice slice of chocolate sponge for their afternoon tea.

I would like to take this opportunity to send out a big thank you to our wonderful team at Infinity.  We have an exceptional INFINITY CREW and appreciate their continued hard work and wonderful personalities every day.

Manager Katrina Conyard doing the honours of cutting the CAKE!
Thanks for all your hard work Kat. We love you.

Bring the whole family this School Holidays to the Gold Coast’s 21st Century Attraction - INFINITY

A multi-million dollar ‘funhouse of the future’, INFINITY ATTRACTION heralds a new era in truly unique, interactive experiences and since its opening in 2000 hundreds of thousands of people of all ages have taken the unforgettable journey.

Located in the heart of Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast, Queensland and nestled within popular shopping and dining precinct Chevron Renaissance Shopping Centre, INFINITY Attraction is a strong draw card for tourists and locals alike due to the amalgamation of special effects technology, science and immersive art.

“INFINITY has an extraordinarily high level of repeat visitation driven by patrons wanting to share their ‘discovery’ with their friends and family”, states attraction creator, Gold Coast based inventor and leisure entertainment concept designer, Gregg Thompson.

“When patrons are asked to describe INFINITY, numerous people say that it defies explanation – you just have to experience it.”

The attraction’s multi-sensual labyrinth occupies an entire wing of Chevron Renaissance Centre – about 800 square metres and integrates a ‘magic mix’ of fibre optics, special translucent finishes, total internal reflection, infrared and ultraviolet lighting, tactile elements, lasers and projection effects, the latest LED technology, video projection systems and mood-inducing sound technology.

On the cutting edge of technological advances, INFINITY utilises specially developed software running a bank of computers that control the effects in each environment.

Visitors travel by foot at their own pace through 20 different ‘worlds’ or environments specifically designed to challenge the senses and evoke a spectrum of emotional responses, encountering an exciting diversity of innovative optical and tactile illusions as well as suggestive aromatics.

Every environment is designed to ignite the imagination; from the thousands of miniature light sources of The Electron Maze and the Crazy Wobbly challenge to stay vertical on a fluid supported floor, to the incredible walk in space through the centre of the galaxy in the Star Chamber.

Ideal for families, dates and groups looking to celebrate special occasions, enjoy social club and school outings and put a new spin on team building exercises, the INFINITY Attraction journey takes approximately 40 minutes.  See you soon at Infinity!
